St Augustine Gold Tours is the only St Augustine tour company using an eco friendly quiet electric tour bus. The size of the vehicle allows the tour to travel the narrowest and quaintest streets of our ancient city. You will see close up all historic buildings where we can stop at any passengers request. The vehicle is unique, comfortable and quiet, with individual seat restraints and armrests, and ample leg room for the most discerning rider.
Every tour is intimate with a maximum of 6 passengers .
The tour will take you tosites of the Spanish first landingIndian villages, site of the celebration of the first mass and thanksgiving celebrations, and to downtown St Augustine. There you will see all the historical buildings including: Castille de San Marcos and Bayfront , Treasury, Cordova, Charlotte Street, and Aviles Street, The Oldest House, Tolomato, Huguenot and National cemeteries, Dade Monument, Flagler College, Lightner Museum, Cathedral, Old Synagogue, Presbyterian Church, Trinity Church, Methodist Church, Episcopal Church, Market and Plaza de la Constitution, The Governor's House, The Old English Bakery and Barracks, Mission de Nombre de Dios. All tours will be a minimum of 6 miles 75 to 90 minutes with a full history narration by Peter Gold (a retired English Barrister and Judge) or Maureen his wife (also a retired attorney) who are experienced St Augustine licensed tour guides with an extensive knowledge of the ancient city's history which they tell in their own inimitable English style.
